This workshop is your opportunity to try your hand at creating a few items for sale at the next OVQG Quilt Show, May 12-14, 2017. We are also planning to feature a "Christmas Corner" in the show boutique. This workshop may also give you inspiration for your own gifts.
What types of quilted items are best sellers at the Quilt Show? Placemats and table runners, colourful baby quilts and lap quilts, small items under $20 - potholders, mug rugs, coasters, trivets, bookmarks and zippered bags. People love bright colours and trendy fabrics, and they are also shopping for that less expensive quilt for their car, cottage or dog.
Mara will provide access to a number of different patterns that you may wish to try out. Bring your own ideas, or use part of the day to finish a small project that has been languishing in your closet.
