After participating in a President’s Challenge to create a piece of art using another art medium as inspiration Jennifer decided to turn her medium of inspiration into a series. Her medium of tissue boxes is a bit unusual but they provide endless ideas and inspiration. She has always admired tissue boxes and thought that many of them could be the bases of great quilt designs. They lend well to geometrics, whimsical, landscapes and many other forms of art quilts. With a gentle push from the challenge she now doesn't buy tissue boxes just for the tissue anymore but rather for the designs on the outside of the box.
