This is a two-part workshop for advanced beginner quilters. A scrap-busting approach in the morning and machine appliqué techniques in the afternoon with Mara Praulins.

No-measure scrap quilt blocks are a relaxed approach to dealing with your bins of scraps, and orphan blocks. No need to pre-cut your scrap fabric into stacks of uniform squares or strips. Just bring your bins of scraps and let's confidently turn them into usable quilt blocks.

Machine applique is a versatile and charming way to embellish your projects, whether a mug mat, tote bag, or any quilted item that calls for machine applique. Demonstrate and work on at least two techniques - fused applique with raw edges and shapes with  turned edges using the Appliquick™ approach.

A class supply kit is available from the Instructor for $10.
