Sew Days

OVQG sew days allow quilters to get together to work on their own projects in the company of others. Have fun making progress on a new project — or a UFO you've been putting off — while getting praise and suggestions from the rest of the group!

In-Person Sew Days

These events are normally held at Maki House, and are open to both OVQG members and non-members. Each sew day has an associated fee, and space is limited.

Attendees must register in advance for the specific sew days they want to join — see the Event Registration Help page for full details. You can register using the online system, or simply sign up at the Workshops table at a monthly guild meeting.

Zoom Sew Days

These events let you sew from home, and are open to OVQG members only. There is no fee, and space is unlimited. Each sew day runs from 9 AM to 3 PM (Eastern Time), and you can join and leave at any time if you can't be there for the entire event.

Advance registration for these sew days is not required, but if you register once using the online system you will receive a reminder email containing the meeting's Zoom link the day before each Zoom sew day until the end of June.
